The Mosaic Canvas is based in Mitcham (Melbourne), and offers quality mosaics using a variety of materials including stained glass, vitreous glass, smalti and ceramic and hand made ceramic pieces to produce a “canvas” of mosaics which include garden murals, birdbaths waterbowls, wrought iron tables, garden seats and mirrors.
Having first started teaching in 2000, Leanne has a wealth of experience and also has run workshops for Scope and is currently teaching a class for the intellectually disabled.
The Mosaic Canvas holds classes during the school term and workshops for beginners which are run on weekends, these include a beginners in mosaics and making your own ceramic pieces to incorporate into your mosaics.
Leanne’s work is displayed at two council buildings and she will be starting a community project with the Knox Council and Orana Neighbourhood House in 2009.
